There was a whole lot of business matchmaking last Thursday at 40 Westt Steakhouse & Rawbar in Pointe Claire as motivational sales analyst Marcie Balaban waved her magic wand before more than 100 movers and shakers at her Power of 4 event.
Last week Balaban’s latest Power of 4 Event, held at the 40 Westt Steakhouse and Bar on the West Island, was jam packed to capacity. While the focus of the event was for participants to network, she turned to an old friend in Chomedey tenor Perry Canestrari to provide some background music.
From the moment guests walked in there was a lot of networking going on, pairing entrepreneurs with corporate types. Balaban then expanded the process to one on one encounters with companies she believes are good matches. The objective is for every attendee at one of her events to leave with at least one new confirmed appointment either for a potential new client or trading partner.
